    This flag holder truly keeps the flag from tangling. Probably the only time you really see it tangled slightly for a short period of time is when it is raining and winds are swirling. A wet flag tangles a bit as wet flags are wont to do. Otherwise, the flag remains or will come back to its untangled state. Note that if the wind is gusting too much (maybe 35mph-40mph), I take my flag and flag pole inside.

See it at work in my video. Lightweight pole, looks quite nice. To attach the flag to the pole, I use the carabiners that came with it.

I went into my garage and was lucky to find 2 thin metal washers that fit the screws perfectly and allowed the screws to hold the flag in place. Clearly, the manufacturer should include such washers. Apparently I am not the first person who has encountered this problem. After mounting my flag, I discovered the e-mail copied below. I did not request a larger set of mounting rings as the washers have solved the problem perfectly. However, if you don't happen to have washers of the correct size on hand, you'll need to wait for the company to send the mounting rings. The idea of using the clip and the included twist tie seems like a really half-baked solution."Amazon informed us that your new No Tangle Flag Pole would be delivered today!"So I wanted to send you a quick note with some tips as you prepare to set it up. Note that there should be a card inside the flag pole box with simple visual instructions for attaching a grommeted flag. Please let me know if you don't see that and I'll send it via email."However, if you have a sleeve / banner style flag, slide the flag sleeve onto the upper pole and then hook the clip near the top of the pole to the tab inside the flag sleeve. Then attach the lower pole and you're done! (no need to use the included rings)"Separately, some overseas flag manufacturers create flags with oversized grommets. If you find the grommets on the flag you have are larger than the screw head on the included rings, an alternative method for attaching the flag to the flag pole is using the top metal clip on the pole for the upper grommet and a loose zip tie (or similar) to secure the lower grommet to the pole.     I bought this in September 2017 (it's August 2022 now). The pole has lasted longer than I thought it would, and I have kept it outside 99% of the time (though not always with a flag hanging from it) in mid-Atlantic summers and winters. I just ordered a new one today, and it was only because a small piece of plastic broke from near the end, to which the metal hook attached. That metal loop/hook helps keep the flag attached to the pole. The plastic grommets that people seem to be concerned about failing prematurely still work perfectly fine. This was well worth the money, and that's not true of lots of things you can buy on Amazon.

    Purchased the pole 18 months ago. I had owned one previously and left it out in a seriously bad wind storm so my bad on that one. Purchased another again 12/2020 and apparently a screw fell out this spring and it came apart. Anyway a couple emails and they replaced it under warranty! It arrived quickly and my flag is happy again - I am too. Happy Customer ✅[One suggestion- the knobs that secure through the grommets are a bit small for my flags grommets so I added a couple washers to secure the flag. Those knobs could be a wee bit larger and fix that inconvenience.]God Bless America!

    This no-tangle flag pole is amazing. I've had it for two years now, and am only writing a review now because during a windstorm one of my bolts got blown out of the grommet, and they are sending me new grommets at no cost!I fly flags on this pole 24/7, and the only time they get hung up is if the wind is blowing and randomly stops to make the flag fall back onto the pole. But once the breeze starts up again, it automatically fixes itself. I have had 0 issues with this product, and even the issue I did have was my fault for leaving it up in 50 MPH gusts of wind! When I emailed them asking if I could buy a new grommet or bolt, they simply offered to send me another set at no cost. Great product, great customer service.

    This is the 2nd of this flagpole that I have purchased. The first one lasted over 3 years of being left outside full-time in the Boston area. After 3 years the piece that holds the clip to attach the flags cracked and broke. Given the reasonable cost of this flagpole I didn't hesitate to buy another one. Other than the broken clip, the pole performed quite well and the flags rarely get tangled.

Typically, if this happens, a mild breeze will untangle the flag and it is free to fly again. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is b/c the manufacturer should provide extra plastic screws/rings (in my opinion). The plastic screws are clear and hard to locate if they are dropped/misplaced. The screws and mating ring, show potential to crack if torqued too tightly - hence a good idea to add additional components. Overall, a solid product and one I would buy again.

    I have tried a number of competing flag poles and this is the only one that allows my flag to swirl around in the wind without getting tangled. As you can see on the video I live on the lake, (Lake Erie to be precise), and we get some pretty blustery days. This flag pole stands up to the wind and does Old Glory proud!The stiffest breeze I’ve had it in is 25 knots.     This pole actually works!! It spins round so my flag doesn’t roll over and over!! The pole was too long to my liking and I wanted it and decorative ball to be black. So we sawed off 10” and spray primed and painted it all. Not a big deal at all. We’ve recommended it to several other friends. We always have a pretty flag out so I’m Very happy! It’s also cheaper than some I’ve seen.

    I bought this spinning flag pole, based off the many great reviews and, I'm certaintly not disappointed. This tangle free, spinning pole replaced a non-spinning pole, where the flag was constantly getting tangled, which turned out to be a PITA to say the least. I've had this new spinning flag pole for 3 days, and, for the most part, it has kept the flag from becoming tangled, just as the company advertises. The pole is nice looking and, very sturdy. Since the grommets on my 3x5 American flag are a bit larger, I contacted the company on 8/21 via email, to request the larger flag pole rings and, recieved a response from Paula, the Director Of Customer Service in less than 24 hours, letting me know, that the company would send me the larger flag pole rings. That is awesome customer service. Thank you Paula. In conclusion, this is hands down, one of the best, if not the best flag poles you can get, to keep your flag from becoming tangled. Buy with confidence.

Although it was made in the USA , the flag is great quality , but the pole was poorly designed and built . I spent a good share of the holiday on a step ladder untangleing my flag . I'm over 60 and didn't want to die from falling off my stepladder because of the poor design . Thank God I found your set up . It does what it says it does , no tangles . Thanks to you I am able to put my ladder away and best yet , I can enjoy my flags that I proudly display . Every day when u get home there are my flags hanging beautifully thanks to you .

    I’ve only had this about two weeks but so far I’m very happy with how it works. During this time we’ve had lots of windy days. Wind blowing out of the south. Then the north. Then the east. Then the west. And during this time my flag has flown proudly and perfectly. In the past I would have been untangling my flag multiple times daily. Haven’t needed to once during this time. I certainly wish I had purchased this long ago.
