Montana state flag

The Montana flag, adopted in 1985, consists of a blue field with the State Seal of Montana displayed in the center. Above the Seal is the state name, “MONTANA,” in yellow lettering.

All of our flags at Star Spangled Flags are 100% made in the USA from start to finish! We use a tough, nylon fabric to hold up outdoors, extra stitching on the fly end of the flag, and a special UV coating to prevent fading from the sun.

Montana flag, Made in USA

Montana is located in the Western region of the country. Due to its mountainous areas, it has earned its name from the Spanish word montaña meaning mountain. Montana goes by many nicknames, the most famous of them include Big Sky Country, The Treasure State, and Land of the Shining Mountains.

Montana’s major industries include ranching, farming, oil, gas, mining, and tourism, which is showing steady growth in this state. Tourists flock to Yellowstone National Park, the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument, Glacier National Park, Lewis and Clark Trail, and, of course, the famous Montana Rockies. The state is surrounded by Idaho, Wyoming, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

But it’s not all about the scenery why visitors come and visit The Treasure State. Montana celebrates many famous festivals that are huge crowd drawers. More Montana Flag questions are .
